Snoring can be a real problem for the person who snores as well as their partner and other family members who live with them. It can also be a sign of an even greater problem called Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Dr. Garvin is trained to work in conjunction with physicians and sleep specialists to treat snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. We can even work with your medical insurance to help cover the cost.
Dr. Garvin will first evaluate you to determine what type of appliance will work best for you. You will then have a series of custom impressions and registrations made for the fabrication of your custom Sleep Apnea appliance. At our Macon office we offer several different options to treat Sleep Apnea and snoring. These include the Silent Nite sl, EMA (Elatic Mandibular Advancement), TAP 3 Elite, and the aveoTSD for our edentulous and orthodontic patients.
